During the pandemic maritime companies active in shipping, ports, ship agency, and many other sectors, including logistics, went the extra mile to ensure that essential goods and supplies continued to flow. The Maritime Standard will present an Award in recognition of that contribution over the past year, including responding to the longer term impacts as the pandemic itself has lessened in impact. This Award will go to the company that in the opinion of the judges made the most exceptional contribution to overcoming the challenges presented by Covid 19 in the period under review. This could be by introducing innovative solutions, new ways of working and introducing and harnessing new technology onboard or ashore, to keep supply chains moving and employees and customers safe. Or with examples of exceptional commitment and dedication to public service.
