Established in 2008, Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine Limited (N-KOM) is a joint-venture
between Nakilat, the world’s leading transporter of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), and Keppel
Offshore & Marine, the global leader in offshore rig design, construction and repair, ship
repair and conversion, and specialized shipbuilding.

N-KOM has established itself as a leading shipyard for complex Ship Repair & Retrofit,
Conversion and BWTS Solutions works over the past decade. Operating out of a strategic
location in the Arabian Gulf at the crossroads of busy shipping lanes and robust offshore
activities, the LR (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO/IEC 27001) certified shipyard has
amassed a stellar track record of safe, timely and quality project deliveries, and continues to
forge strong partnerships with a broad range of clients and service vendors worldwide.
The 50.8-hectare shipyard is equipped with world-class facilities and amenities, and boasts
fabrication areas exceeding 300,000sqm. The facility boasts of 2 graving docks of Size
(360m x 66 m & 400m x 80 m) and One Q-Max Floating Dock (375m x 66 m) size. Situated
at the heart of the global LNG & Oil & Gas hub, N-KOM offers a strategic Ship repair facility
for all major LNG /Oil & Gas Transportation Companies. The facility is managed by
experienced Marine leaders in Operations, Commercial, Engineering & QHSE Departments.
N-KOM has built a reputation for itself as a trusted partner delivering safety and quality
projects. The facility has been awarded the prestigious British Safety Council (BSC) Five-
Star Occupational Health and Safety in 2 consecutive years in 2022 and 2023, British
Safety Council (BSC) “Sword of Honour” in July 2022 (2023 TBA). This attainment puts
N-KOM on the international stage in Health Safety and Well-being Management.
N-KOM has executed more than 1406+ Marine projects which includes Dry Docking and
Retrofit Repairs works of which,
